Woodard Emhardt is pleased to announce that Shane Moreillon has joined the Firm as an associate.

Since 2020, Mr. Moreillon worked as a law clerk for the firm and will focus his practice on all aspects of patent and trademark preparation and prosecution covering a variety of technologies, including biochemical, chemical, medical device, mechanical, and software to protect clients’ innovations from competitors. After earning his bachelor’s degree in biology, Mr. Moreillon gained valuable experience working for PPD, Inc., a global contract research organization, as an associate scientist performing complex analytical methods to analyze pharmaceutical compounds. He provided training to junior analysts and was responsible for 5S management tasks and writing non-conformances.
