Woodard Emhardt is pleased to announce that William A. McKenna has been unanimously elected by his fellow partners to serve as Managing Partner of the Firm. His term began on July 1, 2023, at the conclusion of the prior Managing Partner Daniel J. Lueders’ term.
Mr. McKenna has served on Woodard Emhardt’s management committee since 2016. In his new role, Mr. McKenna will lead the management committee and focus his leadership time ensuring the highest level of client service as well as directing the rollout of new tools that elevate and improve the firm’s intellectual property practice and provide elevated client engagement. Mr. McKenna will be the firm’s youngest ever managing partner.

Lueders will remain active in the firm as a partner as well as continuing in a leadership position with his role on the firm’s management committee.
